Drama Clubs & Events

Drama Club is run by Year 12 Drama students.  Pupils will be involved in drama games and improvisations to build confidence and drama skills.

  • Year 7 Drama Club is run on a Tuesday lunchtime at 1:30pm.
  • Year 8 Drama Club is run on a Wednesday lunchtime at 1:30pm.

Year 9 Masterclass is run on a Thursday lunchtime at 1:30pm.  Run by Upper School drama prefects, students will have the opportunity to learn some basic stage combat skills as well as exploring the work of Theatre Company Frantic Assembly, and techniques that will prove useful should your son or daughter wish to pursue Drama at GCSE level.

LAMDA Tuition is run on a Tuesday after school at 3.15pm. 
LAMDA qualifications are designed to develop communication skills, self-assurance, confidence and articulating and expressing thoughts and ideas. Learners develop a strong speaking voice, reading fluency, a broader vocabulary, enhanced memory and recall and improved English language skills. LAMDA qualifications can count towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award and at Level 3, they carry UCAS points.
