Courses
Courses offered for September 2021:
Once we have received applications by the 1 February 2021 deadline, we will set up our option blocks. If an applicant's preferred subject combination does not fit, we will contact them for an Advice & Guidance meeting in March and April - TBC.
Subject Entry Requirements at St Martin’s School
The requirements for studying a particular subject are listed in the following table. More details of the courses are provided on the relevant subject page on the Sixth Form website www.st-martins.essex.sch.uk.
Where a student wishes to continue a subject from GCSE into A Level but does not achieve the required GCSE results, every effort is taken to ensure fair treatment between such a student and others who have not previously studied the subject.
The number of classes and the availability of particular subjects are dependent upon the initial level of interest demonstrated by potential students and upon the staffing and other resources available. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to provide the courses listed, any may be withdrawn without further notice should the school decide that this action is warranted. Similarly, it cannot be guaranteed that subjects will be available in any particular combination.
