The Sixth Form at St Martin’s School provides Advanced Level courses to approximately 400 students between the ages of 16 and 19, in a dedicated Sixth Form Centre that provides teaching and study space for them.
There is access to additional teaching space and specialist facilities within the Main School Campus. St Martin’s School has a student population of over 1750 with more than 200 members of staff.

If you wish to visit St Martin's School, it is easily reached from East Anglia and other major routes from the M25. St Martin's School is situated between the centre of Brentwood and Billericay. The A128 is the main access road to the school, from the A127 and the A12. If you are travelling on the M25, exit at junction 28.
- The nearest rail station is Shenfield (on the Southend Victoria-London Liverpool Street line). The school is an 18 minute walk from the station, through Mount Avenue.
- The number 9 bus stops directly outside the school and runs from Brentwood Station to Basildon.
- There are several buses from the surrounding area which stop at Shenfield Station (from Brentwood, Billericay, Basildon etc) where students can walk up through Mount Avenue to the school.
Navigating the 6th Form
The Sixth Form Centre is for the use of senior students and provides a pleasant and quiet place to work. The Centre provides students with their own study areas, library, quiet study area, computer facilities, seminar rooms, toilets and lockable storage. The Sixth Form Common Room provides an additional study area and has its own “bistro” where students can obtain light meals, snacks and drinks during break times. Wifi access is also available to students to use their own devices to study. The Sixth Form Office is accessible directly from the Common Room. There is also a pleasant outdoor area for the use of Sixth Form students.
The Common Room and Sixth Form Study Areas are usually open from 8am to 6pm each weekday.
